One of them is by actively participating in the management of plastic packaging waste which has become a national problem. To run the sustainable plastic waste management program, Super Indo does it together and continuously to provide maximum positive impact. And for that, Super Indo collaborated with Waste Hubs Indonesia to launch the Smart Waste Hub. The kick off was held at Super Indo Pinang on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. In addition, WAHU Point is also available at Super Indo Wibawa Mukti.
To participate, it is easy to collect and sort plastic packaging waste from home, then download the WAHU application and register. After registration, bring plastic packaging waste to the WAHU Point located at Super Indo Wibawa Mukti and Super Indo Pinang to be exchanged for e-wallet funds. Every 1kg of plastic packaging waste is redeemed at prices according to 3 categories, namely mixed plastic waste worth IDR 2,500; PET plastic waste worth IDR 4,000; Super Indo Private Brand plastic packaging waste worth IDR 5,000; and specifically in Bandung City, plastic packaging waste of P&G products worth IDR 5,000. E-wallet funds can be obtained through the LinkAja, GoPay, Dana, ShopeePay and Ovo applications for a minimum disbursement of Rp10,000.
