Buying Research and Analysis supports Buying Division operation. This position handles four major responsibility; Category Management, Planogram, Buying Analysis and Pricing Management.
- Delivering Category Management, which includes getting market insight of each categories, building category strategy, preparing category tactics and action plan, executing the plan and facilitating the category review. All this category management involves all related Buyers in the process
- Maintaining Planogram to be implemented in stores, this includes adding new products and removing delisted products from the planogram and send the updated plan-o-gram to stores
- Delivering Procurement Analysis, which includes Buying KPI performance analysis and ordering/supply forecasting
- Managing Pricing, this includes pricing research process, analysis, implementation and reporting. Also helps top management in determining price strategy changes (if necessary)
